Enhancement of silicon-wafer solar cell efficiency with low-cost wrinkle antireflection coating of polydimethylsiloxane

Abstract(#br)A low-cost antireflection (AR) coating of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) with wrinkle surface structure is demonstrated. The surface modulations with controllable amplitude and period are experimentally performed by plasma surface oxidation of a pre-stretched PDMS followed by removal of the applied mechanical strain. The period and the aspect ratio of the PDMS wrinkle are dependent on plasma treatment time in the process of surface modification.

Low-cost fabrication of a paper-based microfluidic using a folded pattern paper

Abstract(#br)Despite that microfluidic paper-based analytical devices (μPADs) provide effective analytical platforms for point-of-care diagnosis in resource-limited areas, it remains challenging to achieve simple and low-cost fabrication of μPADs. A novel method for fabrication of μPADs is developed in this study using a folded polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS)-coated paper mask with a specific pattern to form a sandwich structure with inserted chromatographic paper. PDMS penetrates the target paper from the front and the back sides, and then is cured in the target paper to form legible channels.

本研究介绍了用于飞机结构和聚合物复合材料的快速制造( 4 ~ 5 h )垂直排列碳纳米管/聚二甲基硅氧烷( VACNT / PDMS )可拉伸传感器。采用樟脑和二茂铁前驱体的热CVD法制备的VACNT生长形成了致密均匀的CNT结构,具有许多超过任何电阻隧穿现象的欧姆导电通路。广泛的交流/直流压阻特性研究表明,欧姆导电。VACNTs / PDMS传感器在20 %应变下呈现较高的线性度( r2 = 0.99 ),直流测量时平均规整因子为3.28,铜端电沉积引起的电阻变化较小( 0.052 % )。一个重要的特点是与传统的引伸计设备兼容的电阻值。直流应变片因数比传统的金属应变片高60 %,允许在更宽的应变范围内测量。
