Evaluation of Toxicological Data on Food Additives and Guideline for ADI establishment - Polydimethylsiloxane as emulsifier -JECFA;polydimethylsiloxane;ocular toxicity;temporary ADI;The purpose of this study was to introduce the toxicological study review to evaluate the safety of PDMS on the 69th JECFA meeting. Polydimethylsiloxane is a polymer and its ADI was established at 23rd JECFA meeting in 1979. The ADI was maintained although the specification was expanded at its 26th, 29 th, 37 th meetings.

The influence of dope solution and inner coagulant composition on the permeation properties and structure of hollow fiber supports was examined.

Abstract(#br)Herein, we report polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) based optical sensing platforms and describe how they can be tuned, using nanomaterials, to exhibit plasmonic properties that can be exploited for sensing applications. The platforms include a colorimetric-based sensor realized on gold nanoparticles grown on PDMS films. A theoretical model based on finite element analysis was developed in order to describe the optical behavior and the functional properties of these plasmonic transducers.

本研究的目的是研制一种由聚二甲基硅氧烷( PDMS )主层和聚四氟乙烯( PTFE )增强体组成的复合材料,用于以后的人体假体涂层。将PDMS:正硅酸乙酯( TEOS ):二月桂酸二正丁基锡( DBTL )组成的主层质量比分别在33:1:0.5、25:1:0.5、10:1:0.5范围内,评价复合材料( PTFE:PDMS )的质量比为1:9、1:1、2:3。得到如下结果:以33∶1∶0.5 ~ 1∶9和0.59 MPa的比例10∶1∶0.5 ~ 2∶3的拉伸强度为0.085 MPa,表明通过降低PDMS的质量和增加PTFE的质量可以提高拉伸强度;另一方面,所得复合材料疏水性强,不溶于乙醇和水,交联率分别为98.74 %和99.66 %,最低渗透率为5.24x10 - 7 ( g Pa-1 s-1 m-2 )。由此推断,与人皮肤性质相似的处理为10∶1∶0.5 ~ 1∶1组合,可获得平均抗拉强度0.66 MPa,平均弹性模量6.56 MPa,与43岁人真皮相似。

Highly sensitive optical sensor for hydrogen gas based on a polymer microcylinder ring resonator

摘要\n利用非晶态钯( Pd )内纳米膜和聚二甲基硅氧烷( PDMS )外聚合物层制备的聚合物微圆柱环形谐振器( PMRR ),实现了一种高灵敏的氢气传感平台。该传感方案基于监测高质量的光学共振,称为耳语廊模式( WGMs )的光谱位移,该模式传播在PDMS层外缘附近,而不受Pd纳米薄膜引起的吸收和散射损失的影响。单模锥形光纤与PMRR耦合激发WGMs,观察到的WGMs的可逆光谱位移是由不同浓度H2作用下Pd纳米膜膨胀或收缩引起的PDMS层直径的变化引起的。以氮气( N2 )为载体,在H2浓度为1 %时,对不同厚度的Pd纳米薄膜制备的传感器进行了最大光谱位移灵敏度140 pm / % H2、最低响应时间95 s和最低检测限60 ppm的测试。在沉积后的空气或N2气氛中退火的Pd纳米薄膜也进行了实验。在这两种情况下,由于薄膜内部形成较大的晶粒,导致H在Pd层中的扩散较慢,溶解度降低,导致灵敏度降低。还研究了氧气和湿度对传感器性能的影响。
