The bar coating method was applied to fabricate flexible nanocomposite film with large surface area by low cost process.

Resistance of conductive CNT thin-films intrinsically has good thermal sensitivity, but shows environmental dependency. In order to reduce environmental effects, we spin-coated polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) on the conductive CNT thin-films.

The hydrophobic surface of Polypropylene (PP) substrate was modified by corona discharge using tesla coil to have hydrophilic surface. Then hydrophilic surface of PP substrate takes hydrophobic recovery to have various contact angles from less than $25^{\\circ}$ to about $84^{\\circ}$.

Masterbatches were prepared with polypropylene(PP) and polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS) by melt mixing. Mechanical properties and scratch behavior were examined with UTM and polarizing microscope.

We studied a self aligned dipping of Ag solution through micro contact printing (${\\mu}-CP$) with octadecyltrichlorosilane (OTS) treated polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) soft mold. The OTS monolayer on the patterned PDMS was formed by dipping it into OTS solution.

The various surface modification methods of PDMS were already studied using oxygen plasma, ozone and corona discharge. The surface modification using laser has the advantage of the simple experiment that only directly irradiated laser beam on the PDMS surface in the air.

Abstract(#br)An aptamer-based sensitive method was developed here for detection of multiple foodborne pathogens in food matrix by surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) technology. Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) film was first prepared and then coated with gold nanoparticles (AuNP) to act as an active substrate for the enhancement of Raman scattering. The as-prepared Au-PDMS film was functionalized with specific pathogen aptamers (Apt) to capture the targets.

Isothermal drying of plant-based food material: An approach using 2D polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) micromodels

Abstract(#br)The aims of this study were to build PDMS micromodels that simulated plant-based food material, and use them to investigate the drying mechanisms at pore-scale, the drying front morphologies and the drying curves during the isothermal drying process. Micromodels were built using a modified photolithographic technique. Three normal pore size distribution functions were developed to simulate the plasmodesma, intercellular space, and cell wall. Micromodels were impregnated with a pyranine aqueous solution and placed on a balance illuminated with ultraviolet light.

介电弹性体( DE )技术应用于发电机、传感器、执行器等几个应用场合。限制DE性能的主要因素之一是过早的电气故障。合成是一个例子,据报道提高了击穿强度。本研究将聚二甲基硅氧烷( PDMS )薄膜与二氧化钛( TiO2 )和氧化锌( ZnO )两种不同的填料复合。这两种金属氧化物在作为填料加入PDMS弹性体之前,都会被煅烧至300℃。结果表明,掺入PDMS薄膜中的煅烧TiO2和ZnO显示出明显的击穿强度增加。同时,与煅烧ZnO相比,煅烧TiO2 PDMS薄膜具有更高的击穿强度。
