Implanted, inductively-coupled, radiofrequency coils fabricated on flexible polymeric material: Application to in vivo rat brain MRI at 7T
Graphical abstract [Display omitted] Highlights► Transmission line resonator principle is used to realize small inductively coupled planar coils. ► Implanted coils are coated with PDMS to ensure short term compatibility. ► Coating reduces the resonance frequency shift and the losses induced by the sample. ► The coil is implanted in rat brain and inductively coupled to an external coil.
