Immobilization of invertase and glucose oxidase in conducting H-type polysiloxane/polypyrrole block copolymers

Abstract\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tIn this study, immobilizations of enzymes, invertase and glucose oxidase, were achieved in conducting copolymers of \n\t\t\t\t\t\tN-pyrrolyl terminated polydimethylsiloxane/polypyrrole (PDMS/PPy) matrices via electrochemical polymerization. The kinetic parameters, \n\t\t\t\t\t\tv\n\t\t\t\t\t\tmax (maximum reaction rate) and \n\t\t\t\t\t\tK\n\t\t\t\t\t\tm (substrate affinity), of both free and immobilized enzymes were determined.
