Preparation and characterization of PDMS-PVDF hydrophobic microporous membrane for membrane distillation

Abstract(#br)PDMS-PVDF hydrophobic microporous membranes were prepared through NIPS process for the vacuum membrane distillation (VMD). The influences of PDMS/PVDF mass ratio on the morphology, crystalline structure, pore structure, hydrophobicity, mechanical characteristics and permeability of the membranes were investigated. Compared with the finger-like pore PVDF membrane, PDMS-PVDF membrane had two kinds of pores which are finger-like pore and sponge-like pore and had higher porosity, bigger mean pore size, higher hydrophobicity, stronger mechanical properties and better VMD performances.

制备疏水多孔膜对于探索膜蒸馏( MD )的应用具有重要意义,本文通过在其表面包复聚二甲基硅氧烷( PDMS )对聚偏氟乙烯( PVDF )中空纤维膜进行改性。在真空膜蒸馏( VMD )过程中,考察了PDMS浓度、交联温度和交联时间对复合膜性能的影响。研究发现,涂复PDMS后,PVDF中空纤维膜的疏水性和VMD性能明显提高。最佳PDMS浓度、交联温度和交联时间分别为0.5wt %、80度( c )和9h。
